Yue awoke with a start and looked outside at the sun streaming in. Daytime. She much preferred night...She wasn’t surprised to not see him. Disappointed, but unsurprised.   
"Tsuki," she said, slipping out of bed. She paused, smiled. "Tsuki, Tsuki, Tsuki," she sang as she peeled off yesterday’s clothes and showered.   
"Tsukiiiii–," Yue said, trying it out as a call. Just in case she had to.   
"Tsuki," she murmured at work.   
"Why do you keep repeating that?" a co-worker, Lizzy asked curiously. "You know it means ‘light’ in Japanese, right?"    Moonlight Chapter 3

Moonlight Chapter 2Chapter 2  Yue felt her heart speed up.  Again, she knew fright would be the normal reaction, but somehow she wasn’t afraid of this stranger in her bedroom. But she knew why she’d had that odd, worried feeling all day. Something had happened to the white cat. He’d transformed.  Or partly, anyways. It looked like the boy sitting, staring on her window in perfect comfort still had pointy ears and a tail."I did this somehow, didn’t I?" Yue asked bravely.  The cat-human’s grin turned into a bashful smirk and his ears drooped to the sides as he moved into a less defensive, cross-legged position. "More o Moonlight Chapter 2

She sighed as the light filled her room. "So, you’re here again." She wondered if she was worried he wouldn’t be.   
The ghostly white cat at her windowsill stared at her with emerald eyes gleaming. His tail was wound comfortably around his body. Finally, he blinked."Were you waiting for me?" Yue asked with a smile, setting her bag down and grabbing her pajamas.   
The pearly cat had appeared on her windowsill every night after she came home from work. It had been nearly a month since the first time he had manifested on that moonlit evening. Yue hadn’t named him, nor had she touched hi Moonlight Chapter 1
